Euro 2020: Italy beat Wales 1-0 to enter the knockout stage

Kathmandu: Italy has entered the last 16 of the Euro Cup by winning the group stage. Italy entered the knockout stage after beating Wales 1-0 in the final match of the group stage in Rome last night.

Italy’s Matteo Pesina scored the decisive goal to beat Wales, who were included in the 10-man squad. He scored in the 39th minute of the game.

Wales were reduced to 10 men in the 56th minute when Ethan Empdu received a red card. The referee showed a red card to Federico Bernardeschi of Italy. Italy has added 9 points in 3 games. Earlier, Italy had beaten Turkey 3-0 and Switzerland 3-0.

Despite losing to Italy, Wales entered the knockout stage as runners-up. Wales have added four points in three games. Earlier, Wales had drawn 1-1 with Switzerland and lost 2-0 to Turkey.
