False propaganda made against me: Almutairi

Kathmandu: The head coach of the Nepali national football team, Abdullah Almutairi, has stated that there is false propaganda against him and that he will remain the coach of Nepal until an agreement is reached.

He said that if the agreement is not followed, he will go to FIFA and AFC. In a statement issued yesterday, he accused them of spreading false news against him.

He has also claimed that he has made full efforts to build a strong national team of Nepal.

According to the report prepared by the committee formed to investigate the dispute between Almutairi and 10 players of the national team, ANFA wrote to him asking for an explanation.

However, reports were published that Almutairi, who was on vacation, did not respond to the letter sent by ANFA.

Coach Almutairi said the letter he received today asking for an explanation from ANFA and consultation with a lawyer.
