Kathmandu – Nepal’s young all-rounder Kushal Malla scored a record century in the ACC Premier Cup cricket match against Oman. Kushal completed his century in 59 balls.
He scored a century with 9 fours and 9 sixes. Kushal was dismissed for 108 runs off 64 balls. This is his first century in any international match.
He has become the fastest player to score a century in ODIs from Nepal. Earlier, Kushal broke the record of 91 runs made by captain Rohit Poudel in a match against Papua New Guinea in 2022. Overall, he is the sixth player from Nepal to score a century in ODIs.
Earlier, Paras Khadka, Rohit Paudel, Dipendrasingh Airi, Kushal Bhurtel and Asif Shaikh have scored centuries. Nepal had a bad start in today’s game. Nepal scored the first run in the 28th ball.
