Nepal defeated Maldives 3-1 in the fifth-place playoff held

Kathmandu – Nepal has finished fifth in the ongoing Kabha Cup men’s volleyball tournament in Bangladesh.
Nepal defeated Maldives 3-1 in the fifth-place playoff held at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Dhaka today.
Nepal won the first set 29-27, the second set 25-20 and the fourth set 25-19. Maldives won the third set 37-35. Earlier, they had lost to Turkmenistan in the first match and Bangladesh in the second match.
Similarly, Nepal, which defeated Maldives in the fourth match, lost to Sri Lanka in the fifth match yesterday.
Maldives is at the bottom of the six-team tournament. Turkmenistan and Afghanistan will play for the title today, while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will play for third place.
