Kathmandu: Nepalese women’s national team has won the fifth and final T20 cricket match against Uganda. Nepal beat Uganda by 33 runs today.
After the target of 124 runs by Nepal, Uganda could only manage 90 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Rita Musamali scored 26 runs for Uganda.
For the bowling side, Nepal’s Sita Ranmagar and Indu Burma took 2 wickets each, while Asmina Karmacharya and Hiranmayi Roy took one wicket each.
Earlier, Nepal scored 123 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Jyoti Pandey scored 49 runs for Nepal. Uganda has already won the series.
Uganda won the first, second and third games. Nepal defeated Uganda by 15 runs in the fourth match played yesterday.
