Kathmandu: Nepal and the United States have drawn a one-day international tri-series under the ICC World Cup Cricket League-II.

After Nepal all-rounder Adil Ansari bowled brilliantly in the last over, the match between Nepal and USA ended in an exciting draw.
Batting in reply with the target of 275 runs, USA lost 6 wickets in 50 overs and scored 274 runs.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first in Houston, Nepal was all out in 49 overs and added 274 runs.
The United States needed six runs off the last six balls to win, but Ansari leveled the score with five runs.
Nepal and the United States have shared one point each. Steven Taylor of the United States hit a century of 114 runs to win. This is the first century of his international career.
Similarly, USA captain Monank Patel played a half century innings of 85 runs. Ansari, who made his ODI debut for Nepal, took 3 wickets.
Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami took 1/1 wickets each. Rohit Poudel scored 62, Asif Sheikh 61 and Dev Khanal 54 runs for Nepal. Rohit’s fifth in ODIs is the same as Dev and Asif’s second half century.
Rusty Theron of USA took 4 wickets, Saurabh Netrawalkar and Ali Khan took 2 wickets each. Earlier, Nepal had lost to Oman by 13 runs in the first match.
