A tripartite agreement reached between NRT and Satdobato Club to start youth football academy

Kathmandu: The Martyrs’ Memorial A Division Club New Road Team (NRT) and Satdobato Youth Club will starts the youth football academy.

A tripartite agreement was reached between the club, school and ANFA on Wednesday to run the academy.

NRT has signed an agreement with Laboratory School and Satdobato has signed an agreement with Little Angels School. A tripartite agreement has been reached between the club, school and ANFA during a program at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

The agreement was signed by NRT President Sundar Joshi and Laboratory Principal Lakpa Sherpa. Similarly, Satdobato Chairman Kapil Rana Magar and Little Angels Principal Mukundaraj Sharma signed the agreement. Similarly, ANFA Vice President and Chairman of the Youth Development Committee Upendraman Singh signed on behalf of ANFA.

In the first year after the agreement, there will be 14 players in the academy, 7/7 from club and school. The school will provide scholarships for 14 players to practice with the club.

A total of 21 players will be in the academy from the second year. In which 14 players will be from the club. After the agreement between these two clubs, the club running the academy has reached six.

Earlier, three departmental clubs Tribhuvan Army Football Club, APF and Police Club and Sankata Club have already run the academy. According to the program of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the A division clubs are going to run the youth academy.
