Women’s World Cup: Pre-quarterfinals matches being started today
Kathmandu: The pre-quarterfinals of the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand will begin on Saturday.
There will be 2 pre-quarterfinal matches on Saturday. Switzerland and Spain will face each other in the first match.
Switzerland became the group winner from Group ‘A’ while Spain became the runner-up from Group ‘C’.
Similarly, Japan and Norway will meet in the next match on Saturday. Japan is the winner of group ‘C’ and Norway is the runner-up of group ‘A’.
The tournament, organized jointly by New Zealand and Australia, will last until August 20.
