Kathmandu: Real Madrid and AC Milan have won the first league match of the European Champions League football quarterfinals.
Chelsea was defeated by Real Madrid 2-0 in the match held in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday night. In the 59th minute of the game, defender Ben Chiliwell received a red card and Chelsea were reduced to 10 men.
Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio scored one goal each for Real. With the victory in the first league, Real Madrid has strengthened the possibility of reaching the semi-finals, and Chelsea is under pressure before the second league match.
In another match on Wednesday night, Italy’s AC Milan defeated Napoli 1-0. The clash between the two Italian teams took place at AC Milan’s ground.
