Nepal remains as same in ICC ODI ranking, Dipendra in the top 10 for T20 all-rounder

Kathmandu: Nepal has remained in the rankings of ODI cricket. In the new ODI rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Nepal has managed to remain in the 18th position.
Nepal had won two of the six ODIs played in March and lost four. Nepal defeated Papua New Guinea (PNG) in two matches in the ICC World Cup League-2 series in Dubai last month.
While the home team lost to UAE in two matches. Soon after, Nepal had a ‘clean sweep’ in a two-match-friendly series against PNG at their home ground.
New Zealand tops the ODI rankings. Similarly, England is in the tenth, Australia in the third, India in the fourth and South Africa in the fifth.
Dipendra is in the top 10 of the T20 all-rounder rankings
Similarly, the all-rounder of the Nepali national cricket team Dipendra Singh Airy is in the top ten in the all-rounder rankings of the ICC T20 International Cricket.
Dipendra was also named Man of the Series for his outstanding all-arounder performance in the tri-nation T20 series at home last month.
In that T20 series, he hit two half-centuries and a century against Malaysia and Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Similarly, Dipendra is ranked 38th in the T20 batting rankings. Before Dipendra, opener Kushal Bhurtel is ranked 36th in the batting rankings.
Asif Sheikh is in the 99th position. In the bowling rankings, Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane is ranked 38th and Avinash Bohara is ranked 86th.
