Ninth National Games: Two records were set in swimming on Tuesday

Kaski: Two national records have been set in the swimming competition under the 9th National Games. Records were set in the men’s 200m butterfly heat round and 50m freestyle heat round.

Army’s Alexander Shah improved his own record in 50m freestyle. He improved his time from 23.90 seconds to 23.57 seconds.

Similarly, the record of 2 minutes 18.10 seconds held by Nathanardoje Sherpa in men’s 200m butterfly was broken by Ashish Sapkota of NRN by finishing the distance in 2 minutes 16.43 seconds.
