Kathmandu: The upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November-December has been postponed by one day.

Earlier, the World Cup was scheduled to start from November 21. But now the World Cup will start one day earlier, on November 20. In which host Qatar will play the opening match against Ecuador.

According to the previous schedule, the match between Qatar and Ecuador was on November 21 as the third match.

As a result, the match between the Netherlands and Senegal was scheduled to be the first match of the World Cup.

But to continue the tradition of the organizers playing the first match of the World Cup, the World Cup has been moved forward one day.

The match was postponed a day after discussions between the host country, Qatar, and FIFA, the world’s highest governing body.

After the match between Qatar and Ecuador was moved to the previous day, now there will be only three matches on November 21.

In which group ‘A’ will be played between Netherlands and Senegal and group ‘B’ will be played between England and Iran and Wales and America.
