CAN announced a 15-member squad for the ACC Women’s T20 Championship

Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) has announced a 15-member squad for the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship to be held in Malaysia.

The final squad has been announced from the 19 players in the preliminary squad, according to CAN.

The Nepali team consists of Ruvina Chhetri, Indu Verma, Sita Ranamagar, Jyoti Pandey, Kajal Shrestha, Kavita Kunwar, Apsari Begum, Kavita Joshi, Doli Bhatt, Sabnam Rai, Sangeeta Rai, Asmita Karmacharya, Manisha Upadhyay, Bindu Rawal and Mamta Chaudhary.

Nepal is in Group B in the championship which will start on June 3. Nepal’s group includes Hong Kong, Kuwait, Bhutan and Bahrain.

Nepal will play against Bhutan on July 19, Kuwait on July 19, Bahrain on July 20 and Hong Kong on July 20. The top teams of both the groups will reach the semifinals.
