Kathmandu – West Indies defeated Oman by 7 wickets in the ‘Super Six’ match as part of the ICC One Day World Cup Qualifier.

West Indies easily met the target of 222 runs given by Oman by losing only 3 wickets in 39 overs and 4 balls. Brandon King of West Indies scored a century.
Similarly, Shai Hope scored 63 not out. On the bowling side, Oman’s Bilal Khan and Kalimullah took 1/1 wicket.
Earlier, Oman, who lost the toss and batted at Zimbabwe’s Harare Sports Club, scored 221 runs by losing 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Suraj Kumar of Oman scored 53 not out and Shaeib Khan scored 50 runs. On the bowling side, West Indies Ramaria Shephard took 3 wickets and Kyle Meyers took 2 wickets.
Both West Indies and Oman have already qualified for the World Cup.
